The Tasmanian Open Track & Field Championships will be held in conjunction with the Tasmanian Masters Championships on the 23-25 March 2018 at the Domain Athletics Centre.
Online entries for this event are now closed.
Event entry is $11.00 per event for the Open events, Masters events are $10.00 for the first event & $5.00 for subsequent events.
Please see below details regarding age groups & implement specifications for this event.
Online entries close at 10:00 pm on Tuesday 20 February. Entry fees of $11.00 per event are payable at the time of entry.
Please see links below for online entries, draft timetable & entry information.
Some things to note;
Athletes can enter events in their own age group plus one other providing the events are not scheduled at the same time on the draft timetable. (ie athletes cannot enter both U15 and U16 Long Jump as they are running together).
Athletes who are 12 years of age or under on the day of the event can only enter the U14 age group.
Athletes wishing to use their own throwing implements need to check them in with the Technical Manager at least one hour before the event start time. Private implements entered for competition are available for all athletes competing in that event, not just the athlete who owns them. Those entering Pole Vault are required to supply their own poles.
Athletes must confirm entry by signing at least 30 minutes before the start of the event. IMPORTANT - if an athlete signs in to an event then does not scratch, that athlete will not be able to participate in any other event for the remainder of the Championship. If you do sign in and can no longer compete, please ensure you scratch from the event.
For field events - the top eight after the third round will get one additional attempt in the U14, U15 & U16 age groups, and three additional attempts in the U18 & U20 age groups.
UTAS will have plenty of people on site across the event to assist with enquiries and help our new members get to their events on time.
